Mitsubishi Montero Limited (2001) Consumer Reports Test
"Not acceptable!"Â because of two-wheel lift-off in accident avoidance maneuver by Consumer Reports. The consumer watchdog recently put a variety of 2001 sport utility vehicles through it's accident avoidance course. The only vehicle to have two-wheel lift was the 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Limited.

The tip-up was so violent in one instance, that the vehicle touched the outriggers to the ground. Outriggers are a protective device to keep the vehicle from rolling over and causing severe injury to the test drivers. See additional information by clicking on the links below.
