Dow Settlement Plan

The Bankruptcy Court confirmed the Amended joint Plan of Reorganization on November 30, 1999. The Bankruptcy Court issued an opinion on December 21, 1999 explaining its reasons for confirming the plan. Twenty-three groups, including Dow Corning's shareholders, filed appeals. The District Court issued an order on January 24, 2000 closing the briefing on April 4, 2000. A hearing on the appeals will commence on April 12, 2000.
