Monica C. Vaughan was born in Odessa Texas. She was admitted to the
Texas Bar in 1995.
"As a lawyer for the people, instead of a lawyer for corporations,
I believe that I have the unique opportunity to help protect the court

of a more gratifying profession."
In addition to her litigation practice, Monica has coached South Texas
College of Law moot court teams. She enjoys running in 5k and 10k road
races in her free time. She is the mother of one son and one daughter.
